Nexus Barrier

The Nexus Barrier is a versatile water filled barrier designed for construction site perimeters, temporary compounds and pedestrian walkways. Its multi-directional linking system allows you to create straight runs, curves and branching layouts, helping you adapt your boundary as site requirements change. 

Each unit provides a 2m working length and weighs 28kg empty, with filled weight of 408kg. Optional mesh fencing and hoarding panels extend the system beyond low-level delineation, providing additional height for site security or screening.

Flexible Layout Options 

Connect up to four Nexus barriers at a single junction to create X, T and Y configurations. The linking system also forms 90-degree corners, curved perimeter runs and square internal compounds. 

This flexibility makes it easier to divide working areas, create intersecting walkways and accommodate changes in direction within a single barrier system.

Mesh Fencing and Hoarding Options 

Strengthened, reversible bolt-on mesh and hoarding panels increase the overall barrier height from 800mm to 2150mm. 

Choose mesh where visibility through the perimeter is useful, or solid hoarding where screening is required. Panels link using standard fence couplers, helping create a continuous boundary around working areas and compounds. 

Compatible with Other Barrier Systems 

Nexus is designed to integrate with other products, helping you build a connected perimeter using different barrier types. 

It connects to the male end of a Novus barrier, including at 90-degree corners, and nests with the female end of an RB22 for straight runs. Standard fence couplers also enable connections to compatible 38.1mm tube products, Chapter 8-type barriers, 2.3m Pedestrian Barriers, gate systems and Evo barriers with mesh. 

Connections allow compatible products to share the stabilising benefit of the Nexus ballast, with the layout and fittings selected to suit your installation.
