Installation is simple. The temporary fence panels slot into weighted bases. Adjacent panels are then joined together at the top using heavy-duty fence couplers, which are tightened to create a firm and stable barrier. For extra stability, support struts and weighted block trays can be added.

Our standard temporary security fence panels typically measure 3.5 metres in width and 2 metres in height. This size is recognised as the industry standard, providing an effective visual and physical deterrent that complies with health and safety guidelines for securing a site.

While our temporary fencing is designed as a mesh barrier, it is not typically intended to be fully covered with solid hoarding panels, as this can create a ‘sail effect’ and compromise its stability in high winds. If you require visual privacy, we recommend exploring our temporary steel hoarding solutions. If you already have temporary fencing on site, we can supply additional options like mesh netting to contain debris and obscure views or acoustic barriers to reduce noise and block vision from the outside.

A standard temporary fence is secured using weighted rubber feet at the base and strong anti-tamper couplers to connect the panels. For enhanced security and stability, especially in areas exposed to high winds, you can use additional stabilisers and weighted ballasts or block trays. These help prevent movement or unauthorised access.
