RB2000 Barrier

This is an excellent, low containment water filled barrier system. Before being filled with water, the barrier weighs just 35 kg and so can be moved with relative ease. Once the barriers are filled their weight is increased to 400kg.

The RB2000 Barrier has been wind tunnel tested at the prestigious Mira facility and proven to with stand high wind speeds both with and without mesh panels. As with other water filled barriers in the range, the RB2000 can be used with hoarding, mesh panels, vehicle, and pedestrian gates. When mesh and fence panels are added the overall height of the system is increased to 2.1m.

The barriers are designed with a patented five position interlocking system and can be positioned in straight lines and flows smoothly around bends and corners. Designed with a patented five position interlocking system, the barrier can be positioned to create a flat solid wall across uneven surfaces.

Once the barriers are filled, they weigh up to 400kg and so very hard to move.  They are made from prime polythene and can be used time and time again.

The wind tunnel testing demonstrated that three RB2000 Barriers were able to withstand wind speeds of up to 71mph, add a mesh fence panel to a barrier and it will continue resist wind speeds of up to 70 mph.

Additional safety lights may be mounted onto this water filled barrier system to ensure top level visibility. The barriers are also supplied in red and white as standard and front/end stops can be supplied to prevent trip hazards.
