The new Manta barrier system has been meticulously crash-tested by experts and proven to provide superior protection against severe impact with a phenomenal “A” rating in its ASI and THIV assessments. The British Standard crash course W7 of BS EN 1317:2010 was passed with flying colours.
Withstanding an impressive 1,300 kg impact at over 50 mph, the new Manta barrier absorbed the energy of crashes, minimising damage to both vehicles and the barrier itself. This level of performance makes the Manta barrier an ideal solution for roads with high speeds and heavy traffic.

Delivery & Installation
We offer a nationwide delivery and installation service. Manta barriers are stacked and delivered on pallets of six units, which can be unloaded using a forklift. For further information on how to dismantle, move, stack and pack Manta barriers please see the product specification sheet.

In addition to its standalone benefits, the Manta Barrier can accommodate one of the lightest 3m anti-climb fence panels available, making manual handling easier. This quick-fit add-on increases the overall height to 2m, significantly reducing the risk of perimeter breaches.

Our hoardings, available in 2m and 2.4m, can be installed on any hard surface, ideal for roadworks and site perimeters. Made from corrugated galvanised steel with bright powder-coated colours, they mark boundaries, obscure the site, and provide Manta Barrier-level crash protection. Installation is quick and easy using the same slot-in system as other Manta fencing.

Manta Barriers’ vehicle and pedestrian gates provide secure, controlled access with durable galvanised steel for long-lasting, corrosion-resistant performance. Pedestrian gates work with our pedestrian fencing, while standard gates fit the 2m mesh fencing, with hoarding options also available for a complete, climb-resistant perimeter solution.
Wind Tested
The Manta barrier was tested in an internationally renowned wind tunnel both with and without fence panels attached. When test on its own, the manta barrier received an “A” rating. This means that the barrier withstood wind speeds of up to 74-mph before being displaced.
With a pedestrian barrier affixed, the barrier was able to withstand wind speeds of up to 60mph, and 44mph with an anti-climb mesh fence.

Manta Barrier Corner Sections give the ability to rotate units at 90° to accommodate right angles and bends.
Common applications include defining pedestrian walkways and vehicle access, for example, to create a pit lane on a construction site or anywhere that requires the demarcation of vehicle traffic and footfall for pedestrian, visitor and workforce safety

End Stops
A Manta Barrier run can be safely and neatly finished using our purpose-designed end section, available with both male and female connections. It eliminates hazardous exposed edges while maintaining the standard barrier height and full compatibility with all fencing add-ons.
The end section also acts as an impact-absorbing cushion, helping to protect connection points if the barrier is struck. Its octagonal design reduces movement when stacked on its side during transport, providing a more stable and secure transit solution compared to round alternatives.
