A private client of ours in York, a sole trader; was planning, building and constructing a new home. The client’s house build was a personal project and in a rural area away from civilisation and residential areas. The client wished to monitor his site at evenings and weekends and was a little worried about leaving it unattended. The client had to leave some of this his materials around the site as they were too cumbersome to remove at the end of each day.
SafeSite Facilities went out to site to conduct a site survey, free of charge with no obligation. We found various ways we could erect CCTV cameras over our client site with little disruption. Our client proceeded and we installed our cameras the very next day.
We installed them covering the site entrance, possible access points and angled over his materials. The cameras were then linked back to our live monitoring station, if any suspicious activity was caught on camera local authorities could be alerted in real time.
The client was provided with their own personal login for the cameras; meaning they could log in at any time when the site was unattended. We had to return back to site to fix wiring of the cameras that someone had caught whilst strimming the grass. The client was happy with the quick reaction of SafeSite to replace the camera wiring. The project lasted three months and was decommissioned at the end in less than one day.
