Types of concrete construction site barriers

Our Crash-Tested Concrete Barriers, also known as Temporary Vertical Concrete Barriers, are designed to protect road workers and drivers from injuries by reducing deflection in case of collision. They are crash-tested and have an interlocking design, allowing them to bear collisions from vehicles that travel up to a speed of 50mph.

Our Heavy-Duty Concrete Barriers can be used to protect a construction site from pedestrian, vehicle and plant intrusion. They are over two tonnes in weight and come with hiab, forklift or different fence attachments as required.

Installation

Concrete barriers are installed using heavy lifting equipment, such as a forklift, telehandler or crane (including lorry-mounted). The best option depends on the weight of the barriers, site access and space.

They can be bolted together with our state-of-the-art interlocking system and arranged in a wide variety of configurations, including straight and curved.
