RB22 Safety Barriers – Ignition Festival Of Motoring 2017

In August 2017 Safe Site Facilities were instructed to install RB22 crash tested safety barriers to the nationally recognised Ignition Festival of Motoring, based in Glasgow. When considering the close proximity of spectators to such a high speed motoring event, quality approved safety products and specialist installation was an absolute must!

The Brief:

After gaining a detailed understanding of the event, Safe Site Facilities recommended and installed 1.1km of Crash Tested Barriers (BS EN1317 – N1 50mph Working Width W7) for this high-profile motor sport event. Providing the optimum safety to both drivers and spectators alike.

Using our previous experience of such events and high level of product specification knowledge, we opted to supply RB22 Water-filled Crash Tested Barriers (BS EN1317 – N1 50mph Working Width W7). We knew this provided the best solution when considering that nature of this motoring event.

Logistics / Time Frame:

Despite the geographic distance between Safe Site Facilities base and the venue, our specialist teams worked overnight while road closures were in place, to install and dismantled our RB22 safety barriers on time and to the required specification.

Outcome:
