The 900mm high Flood Defence Barrier is a robust and effective flood defence system. The barrier can be assembled to any length and arranged to suit any direction. It is often used by construction companies or utilities to protect assets from flood risk.
Each barrier is 900mm high, 1015mm wide and has a depth of 750mm.
Benefits
When in use the majority of the modular units fill with the rising flood waters which, combined with the weighted universal keys, ensures the assembled flood defence barrier holds back flood waters. All units and keys incorporate hard-wearing gaskets to ensure sealing.
Flood Defence Barriers are connectible for any length required. They’re not affected by strong winds when deployed and are a more cost effective and reliable alternative to flood sandbags.
Installation
The flood barrier is assembled by connecting up the one-metre long modular units using the universal key. The system can be rapidly deployed by two persons and is self-balancing, with no bolting required.
For acute cornering or wall connection during Flood Barrier assembly a Multi-hub unit is used.
When flood waters recede, barriers empty themselves and become light enough to be carried away.

We hire these every year
We use every winter now without fail and will probably hire them out again in 2020. They’re always delivered on time and on occasion at very short notice in sudden bad weather. They don’t look like they can hold water back but trust me, they’re top-drawer. Nothing got close to the property or out-houses. Hiring works just fine for us rather than buying, its very good value for money.
