3m Concrete Barrier Install – Tottenham, London

The Brief:

Our client has a site based in Tottenham, London which is located on a busy Industrial estate with a number commercial vehicles that travel in and out daily.

This estate backs onto a canal which has a number of vacant properties running along it and also contains an abandoned National Grid depot. The site had been occupied by a travelling community with over fifty caravans which is causing some serious problems for the land owner.

 

The Solution:

We supplied our customer with 78 no 3m Concrete Barriers each weighing approximately 2.2 tonnes to secure the site once the eviction had taken place. We also supplied the logistics of the articulated vehicle complete with a crane, and arranged positioning of the barriers to ensure the job was executed efficiently and safely.

One of our consultants liaised with the customer, driver, Police and Council to ensure that the job would be completed within the correct time frame, while ensuring that the loads were positioned immediately after the illegal occupants were removed.

The Outcome:

We had a time frame of five days, Monday to Friday in order to complete this job however, we actually managed to completed things a day early.

The logistics consisted of eight artic loads with the delivery, offload and positioning. The location of this job also meant dealing with the busy commercial & public traffic.
